When using a OS XP, and we like to convert a PPT
presentation to JPG, if we do sava as jpg in Power Point,
the fonts in the slides that we receive have a distortion.

Do you know how we can solve it?

Daniel,

When powerpoint displays a presentation on-screen, it smoothes the fonts, so that they look clearer. When powerpoint
saves a presentation as JPG files, it does not do the smoothing.

So....you can either grab each screen as it's displayed (print-screen key on keyboard) and paste it into a graphics
application (photoshop etc)

Or read this page (then re-size the images smaller if you need to)
Improve PowerPoint's GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG export resolution

Also, PowerPoint does not allow you to choose a JPEG compression level -
sometimes, its better to export to BMP and convert them to JPEG in Photoshop
or similar.

Does it look like this ? :

If yes, it is a bug in powerpoint XP with the latest service packs for
WinXP. We had a machine that did not show the problem before we
applied SP1 to WinXP.

There is no fix to my knowledge...!

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Isn't that what makes life with it so
interesting? ;-)

If there are many to do, it's worth a look at our Image Export demo
