I've always used ata drives. I recently built a new box and put in
SATA2 western digital drives. They're the same basic model as the
ATA versions in my other box.
Frankly they seem distinctly slower in response than the ATA drives.
Are they STILL using ATA drives with sata converter add on
circuitry?
Boy those marketing guys can sure snow the world with their
bullshit.
