SATA - SI3112r - 2xMaxtorHDD (Stripped) with Norton 2004 Error

I have a problem with a Giga-byte GA-7n400-pro 2 M/b using the SATA SI3112r chip. I have 2x Maxtor DM9 SATA Drives and have set them striped. After setting up windows 2000 SP4 and getting teh whole system working, i have then installed Norton Anti Virus 2004, this then causes windows blue screens giving the error:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL on address si3112r.sys

Anybody got any ideas, i can get onto the pc in safe mode and i am now trying to remove norton, but i don need it on there.

si3112r.sys is the SATA drivers, or part of, funny as I usually see this in XP

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
... is MS just telling you you have a driver problem.

Did you "press F6" to install these drivers from a floppy?

ive solved the problem with this the error is with the 3112 drivers and the 1.0.0.50 from the following web site:
