Can the New SATA II 300 hard drives be purchased in the UK yet?

After looking on tinternet i know there out - i wanted to see if anyone new of a good supplier for them?

Yup, Hitachi have a range of SATA II disks. *Apparently* they offer near Raptor performance. Apparently.

I have an IBM and Maxtor Hard Drive (IDE) already in they both serve me very well.

Does anyone know what Samsung drives are like? Or should i go for Hitachi?

Cheers me_2001 thats allot of help, gonna go for that one.

I thought about getting a raptor, but only offerings are 36 GB and 74 GB; i need to take in account the space thats going to be required
