As well, there are only two SATA ports on the Deluxe.
So many motherboards have ports for 6 or 8 PATA drives but virtually
nothing for SATA. Doesn't make much sense these days. You would
figure we'd be starting to see boards with just one PATA port for
optical drives and then at least four SATA ports for hard drives.

Well thats all very well, but what if you want to use both your
opticals and a PATA drive? I don't think including two IDE channels
is wrong... it would have been nice if they'd included the SiI3114
though.
