SATA drives - won't spin down . . .
Greetins all,
On a Window 2000 Pro box, when I visit "Power Options" in the controller
panel and set a time for "Turn off hard drives",
I find that my SATA drives do not obey - they never spin down.
Question:
What is responsible for this fault? Is it a Windows problem, or is it a
noncompliant SATA controller or driver?
Is there a work-around?
Thanks all,
