I've had a SATA drive on my machine for 5 months. Suddenly, it is not
recognized by my XP Pro SP2. The BIOS Recognizes the drive and the drive
works (seemingly) perfectly in another machine.
Initially, the machine would freeze completely but would boot. Now if the
SATA drive is connected, it freezes during the boot process.
I thought it was a bad drive, but after testing on the other machine, I'm
thinking otherwise.
The other 2 drives in the machine are IDE. The setup worked untill about 2
weeks ago, then became unstable, then unuseable.
