I have acquired a 160GB SATA hard drive and my motherboard has a pecial
connection where it is plugged in. I am running W2K with just one IDE hard
drive. When I boot my computer the system recognises that a drive is
connected to the 'Fast controller port' but that's as far as it goes. I
don't see the drive after windows starts. I would appreciate any help on
installing this drive, particularly, how do I format it?
