Sata and laptop

Hi all

I have a hp laptop. I want to get a new hard drive as the one with my
laptop is full

I want to get soemthing that is fast as I want to use it for Virtual
machines for Virtual pc

Should I go Sata or USB 2?

How would I get Sata to work with my laptop - it has no sata
connectors....

I am not clear as to what you are trying to do. Are you wanting to replace
your existing hard drive with a more capacious version - in which case you
are stuck with whatever interface the existing drive has (probably Parallel
ATA).

Or do you want to connect an external drive in a box, in which case USB2 is
probably the best way to go at present as there is a huge choice.
