Sata 250gb drives

Install XP SP1 and you will be able to partition the rest.

.it's most likely that your motherboard cannot see

anything larger than - well, mine won't detect past 137GB
without some sort of reconfiguring... consult your
motherboard's manual. (Hope you have one; mie's not very
well written, which is typical.)

You need three things to see/use the whole drive:

1. Motherboard that can handle big drives (or possibly a BIOS patch).
Alternatively, use a PCI adapter card with its own BIOS, but be sure that it
can handle 250Gig. That is getting rather large.

2. SP-1 for XP

3. Enable 48bit LBA in XP (after SP-1)
