part, or were you expecting us to offer him a job, or just to sue him
for both the phennigs he owns.? 8>.

Hopefully the German authorities will hang him, and save us the trouble.

Unless that is information in the public domain, that was a very ill
considered thing to do. Particularly posting a phone number. Hope no one
ever posts your personals.

Indeed, not a nice thing - however, AFAICT the information IS public,
as his name and the town he lives in was mentioned in some news
articles, and the phone book takes care of the rest (I checked - the
phone number seems to belong to his mother[0]).

But I guess he is in enough trouble already without everybody bombing
him with mail and phonecalls.

[0] The one also mentioned in some news articles to be running a small
IT support company

Probably the guy hiding behind the remailer wants you to do the dirty
work for him. BTW, we have Eurocents now :-)

I guess he'll get social work or probation - on account of his life
being ruined by the payments he'll have to make to repay for the damage
he caused. It's quite probable that he'll have to live on the legal
minimum for the rest of his life, as everything he earns on top of that
would immediately be grabbed by lawyers.

Excellent. I know where to send the guy a cheque. I've made a nice
little bundle sorting out Sasser on idiot users computers.

As he was not a minor when he released the Sasser viruses, I am
reduced to asking "So... ?"

I don't think that execution is an appropriate punishment -- public
flogging seems much more like what he deserves... 8-)

Anyway, the German authorities are apparently soft-in-the-head,
treating his Netsky and Sasser activities as all one "extended
offense" rather than deciding to set a decent precedent and scorch
his sorry arse for being stupid enough to _release anything_ and
doubly so his choice to release all Sasser variants once he turned
eighteen and was expected by his society to act like (which includes
assuming the responsibilities of) an adult.
