SAS vs SCSI

I'm looking to purchase a server. Like everyone else I've always bought
SCSI. I'm reading up and the smaller form factor, less power and heat, as
well as comperable performance look good for SAS. I want to rollout Windows
SharePoint Services on an HP DL320 G4.

Any opinions would be welcome.

I've also been reading up on SAS drives and they do look good combining the
best of both worlds from SAS and SCSI. Plus you can plug SATA drives in to
the same slots which could be useful.

At the moment you are going to pay a premium for being an early adaptor.
Though over the course of the server's life if you want to upgrade the
drives, future SAS drives could be cheaper than the equivalent SCSI drives.
