I was thinking of getting a Sapphire x800gto card for a new system I am
building but see that it needs a power connection. Is this a standard
molex connection like for a cd drive or something different?

Any help appreciated.
Brian

The AGP version uses a standard 4-pin Molex connector meant for CD drives.

The PCIe version may use a 6-pin "standard" power connector meant for video
cards, according to the company brochure:

However, this picture at NCIX.Com depicts the card having a 4-pin floppy
drive power connector:

In any case, the necessary adapters should be included in the box to let you
use the popular 4-pin Molex meant for CD drives.
