Hi, I've got a new sapphire x800gto2. On Ati tools it seems to have 16
pixelpipelines already enabled, but chipset is marked as 430. It's
possible that it comes with an upgraded bios or something like that?
Should I try to upgrade with the modded bios?
Thanks

Enrico

It reads as a 430 core but it's not, known issue. Mine is a bad oc though,
only 410 core is stable. Memory is ok though, 485 or so is good. I had the
same experience as you, got mine a month ago at ncix.

The NCIX forums have posts saying the newer Sapphire GTO2 cards already ship
with 16 pipes enabled. There's no need to risk flashing the BIOS since all
possible pipes are already unlocked. Just overclock it with your favorite
utility, like ATiTool.

Whoops, add 100 to the speeds...
