i am considering a X300 or X600 card from both companies.Would like to have
user experience with both companies, good and bad.
Thank you,
Lori

I had a Sapphire card that lasted maybe three months, then it went
south, suspect poor cooling. The last ATI card I bought was retail ATI.
But then again that is only one card, I am sure Sapphire has made many a
good card.

IIRC Sapphire is who makes the OEM ati cards but that may have changed since
when I got my 9800 OEM card. I have never owned a powercolor card myself but
seem to recall more complaints about them than Sapph

I have had a powercolor 9700pro from the first month they released it great
card.

one time the fan was clogged up with dust and junk "I was a heavy smoker"
other than the one problem with fan stopping it a good overclocker not one
glitch in over 2 years.

its way past time to upgrade but i keep puting it off due to the powercolor
9700pro still holding up,
