Hallo,
My first post here, my Wife just bought me the abobe mentioned card and a
17" TFT for my birthday, i love the card (used to have a Geforce MX 440) i
have one problem though, when i connect to the TFT using the DVI input, the
screeen seems to be slightly blurry, is this a known problem or is it
something on my system? I completely reinstalled Windows XP to make sure
that i didnt have any problems with leftovers from my old drivers. Another
thing would be which driver do i use for best performance (being an nvidia
user, i am used to the fact that some drivers are better than others).

Thanks in advance

Rob

On another note i have seen here that people are having trouble with their
9600 xt´s, well i have found that if you turn the AGP setting to 4x and turn
off the fast writes and use the catalyst 3.2 drivers everything works fine
(well did for me) i can now play games with no lock ups.

If your screen appears somewhat blurry when using DVI output are you sure
you have set te resolution in Windows to the native resolution of the
screen? If not the screen will interpolate and that can appear blurry.

Also make sure you have a display driver specific to your screen, a generic
diver may not even support your panel's native mode, as in the case with my
laptop's 1400x1050 display.

Even so, some games will not adapt to as they do not implement screen
resolution setting properly, forcing the user to use an interpolated
800x600, 1024x768 or 1280x1024 display mode instead of reading the modes
available from the DirectX hooks and making them available in the game's
resulution setting interface.
