Sandy Mann

We're very sorry to pass on the news that Sandy Mann passed away on Saturday
morning.

Many thanks for all the messages of support that have been sent over the
last month. We were able to take them into hospital and he always looked
forward to reading them, though sorry he wasn't able to offer more help.

I am extremely sorry to hear this sad news. I never met Sandy, but I enjoyed
our 'virtual' chats, and was hoping that he would be coming to the Excel
Conference in April.

I am also sorry that I did not even know that he was ill, and so was not
able to pass on my regards.

My deepest condolences to his family.

I'm so sad to hear this news. Sandy and I had some pleasant exchanges as our
paths crossed on these newsgroups; I'd like to think he enjoyed them as much
as I did. Thank you for letting this, his online "home away from home", know
of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

This is sad news indeed.

Sandy will be greatly missed in these forums.

My condolences to his family and friends.

I am so saddened to hear that news. I had no idea that Sandy was ill.
We exchanged many happy posts over the years, and it was always so nice to
see Sandy's proud signature line about his beloved Perth.
I travel up to Inverness each year, normally by plane, but later this year I
hope to be driving there.
I had determined in my mind that I would stop off for an hour or so at Perth
and meet Sandy for coffee.
Sadly, another of life's small plans that won't be realized.
My heartfelt condolences to all his family.

I am very sorry to read this sad news - many condolences to his family. His
posts from Perth, 'the seat of kings' will be greatly missed.
