Just a quick note on a possible problem and solution with
the e200 series MP3 players. I have Version 1 - 01.02.24
Firmware as of 6-19-2008. Orginally installed the
AutoUpdater software on my Laptop and it and the MP3
player functioned as it should in both MSC and MTS modes.
Then for the 1st time I used my built-in card reader and it
became drive H: and MP3 player became I: and J: (it had
been H: and I. The AutoUpdater stopped working so I
uninstalled and reinstalled it and then it would ERROR out
during install. (Note the MP3 player is DISCONNECTED
during the install so it has ZERO effect on the problem.)

AutoUpdater as of 6-19-2008 Version 1.083 at this time
I contacted SanDisk Support....and 1st they wanted me to
REFORMAT my player! See WAS NOT CONNECYED.
Next they tried to blame a possible virus. I told them B.S.
and sugested there had to be a registy entry NOT removed
during an uninstall and so a re-install blows up. They replied
that editing the registry is a no no We wonder WHO here
is the expert.
So I reset the drive letters so than MP3 is back to H: and I:
and CardReader is J:, re-installed the Auto-Updater and
all works..... so obviously the uninstall does not properly
clean up as it should.
Just posting here so the fix is known.
