I need to print up to the long edge of an A4 document (something I can
do on my £50 inkjet)!
I cannot find how to do this on the CLP 550N.

I have tried setting the printer margins to 0(zero) but this still
leaves about a 5mm unprinted area down th side of the page.

Anyone have any Ideas?

Well, I just heard from Samsung - Guess what?

You can't - the minimum border size is 5mm.

Looks like I'll be looking for a new A4 colour laser printer then!

It is very uncommon for a laser printer to have borderless printing.
Many inkjets lack this feature as well. Even the ones that do will not
print to the border on anything other than heavy photo paper. It
usually will not work if you use plain paper, brochure paper,
cardstock, or full sheet labels.

5 mm is actually quite good for a laser printer. Many HP inkjets that
are not specifically sold as photo printers will not print below .5"
from the bottom border.

Well that surprises me,
As I said my Canon i850 inkjet does - I can't remember exactly how old
it is but it must be 4-5 years old and it cost about £50.

I would have expected most current machines to do borderless prints.

ah well............
