Same update keeps happening.

When I update to the 5731 definitions the information
given states that the update was done successfully.
However when I click on the update button, instead of
telling me I am using the current definitions, the program
keeps reinstalling the 57312 definitions.

This is a major bug in the latest build, and Microsoft
has ignored it for a week. Other areas of this board
give you a work around process, but Microsoft will
probably eventually get around to another version to fix
this HUGE problem. But this is not building much
confidence when there is so much feedback on this
obviously flawed "updated" beta software version.

In the meantime, suggest going back to Spy-bot manual
updates: http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

Perform the following manual update:

Right click and "Save target as..."
