Same problem as Steve

I just read a posting by Steve who described a search
problem he's having and the Qhost virus scan he's done,
etc. I've done the same thing and also went in and found
I has spyware on my PC which I removed but I still have
the same problem. I also have some kind of email problem
becuase my outlook express is sending emails to people
and destinations I've never heard of.... if anyone has
an answer or suggestion I'd appreciate it very much.

Are you sure?
How do you know that?

If this is true, then your machine is infected with some virus.
If it were on any of my networks, it would be disconnected immediately.
I'd not re-connect it to the Internet or a LAN untill it has been cleaned.

What AV software have you used, and have you used the latest pattern
download?

MY PC is only about a month old and I'm using the Norton
Anti-virus that come installed. I've also done a virus
scan on-line via the Symantec web site - neither has
detected as virus????????
