Hi all,
My office running NT4 server with service pack 6a. We have client using
98SE, ME, XP. Recently, i setup a pc running Win 2k with service pack 4.
The problem is NONE of the machine can see the folders shared by the Win2K!
Not even the server.
I can ping the W2k ip address and no data was loss.
I can also see the W2k name when using the net view at command prompt.
I can see the W2k name in the Network neighborhood/My network place.
I'd enable the TCP/ip over netbios for W2k, and Xp.
The computer name is short less than 8 characters, and the folder's name is
also less than 8 characters.
I'd tried using the administrator to log in.
I'd renew the DHCP too.
And ........ i still can't access the W2k shared folders.
Please advice.
Thanks in advance.

ps my last resort will be re-format and re-install W2k
