Check that the CD is connected properly and that it is not sharing a
master/slave setting with another device on the same connection ie if the
ribbon cable also has another device on it, one needs to be a master and the
other a slave. You change a jumper on the CD to make it a slave etc. If
you have two devives both configered as master on the same ribbon cable =
problems.
