Hi Alan. This is James. I think the option of deselecting those two options
is not something I want to do for now as by what you said about what will
happen if I unchecked them. I'll wait till MSoft fixes it's program. I hope
they will add a selection that'll allow me to stop notification of those
repetitious messages. I want to know about other not normally set warnings.
The selection should only stop the warning messages for those messages that I
select to not be notified of. Example: The message about the "MpCmdRun.exe."
This message I'd want to not show every time. So in a dialog that should
appear when I see the warning. I should get an option to not show this
specific warning. So I would be able to stop only warnings for those items
that are considered normal. Now I must ask a question outside this topic
please>>> Why is this message area not opened in a normal page showing the
toolbars from the MSIExplore? I can't access my Google spell-check utility
from this page to see if all spelling is correct. I must copy / paste to a
word processor to spell-check. Additionally: Why can't I change the main
display page so it is easier to read for me? The main page for this forum is
not designed as fully handicapped accessible. It needs to be reformatted so
the Explorer Navigation bar can be hidden while reading the messages so the
message boxes can be larger and easier to read. This text entry box needs to
have it's text size changed to a point size or two to make it easier to read.
Thank You.

Hi. I got the thing about the "MpCmdRun.exe", but if it is a known, and is an
OK. Then why does WinDefend keep giving notice of it? Can I set the program
not to notify unless their is a fault with this program?
Open Defender main panel. Choose Tools, then Options, and scroll down until
you get to: "Choose if Windows Defender should notify you about:
[ ] Software that has not yet been classified for risks
[ ] Changes made to your computer by software that is allowed to run"
Uncheck the two boxes, and the notifications should stop. However, keep an
eye on System Restore for the next few days. You just might get a
proliferation of 'Defender checkpoints' appearing - which is why some of us
have checked those two boxes in the first place. This is a bug they've
promised to fix in the final release.
