Thank you Sam for your assistance; I tried that but it
did not help. (Perhaps because I did not reboot? - though
I did tap the Apply key.) Here's something that may be
interesting - I went to download the non-critical Windows
updates and downloaded that DirectX patch and that seemed
to help. Any other thoughts? I so appreciate your
assistance.
