"I've posted to winxp group, but got no responce"

Every since I installed the software to my new Printer/Scanner/Copier from
HP {Hewitt & Packer} {Hp psc 1210xi} Everytime I turn on the "PSC" I get a
little Icon in my system tray that when clicked on opens the "Safely Remove
Hardware" options box.
And I have even went ahead and removed it but every time I restart the
computer and turn on the Printer I get the same Icon in the system tray
{Safely remove hardware}, But not matter if I remove the hardware or ignore
it, the Printer/Scanner/Copier all works.
It just comes back every time I reboot.
Is there anyway I can correct this?
I run Windows XP and the "PSC" is connected by "USB", Like I said everything
works fine I just would like to stop this from happing everytime I Boot up.
Thanks for any Help that anyone can give!

I also have an HP PSC, and Safely Remove Hardware should be there. You can
always hide it by going Start > Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu... go
to the bottom and check hide inactive icons, then click customize, find
safely remove hardware, and then select always hide from the list.
