Hello everyone I have a question that I hope one of you can answer for me. When I installed my Hewlett Packard Printer a small green arrow appeared in my tool bar. When I click on the button it brings up a box that says slect the device you want to unplug or eject and then click stop. After that it tells me when windows notifies you that it is safe to unplug device you may do so. This item being in my tool bar confuses me I dont want to remove the item it wants me to remove and why is it there. Frankly its pretty annoying to see it down there in the corner of my screen. Is it normal that it is there or is there something wrong with my computer, and is there a way to get rid of it. If anyone could answer these questions for me I would be forever greatful.

The icon you speek of is part of you HP software. It is normal and there is nothing wrong with your computer. I have the same thing with my DSL modem. To my knowledge, you can't get rid of it either. After a while you'll get used to it. I did
Sorry!!!

While you cannot get rid of it, you can select to "always hide" it - just
like anything else by your clock.
