Safe XP allows users to quickly tweak various security and privacy related
settings in XP. The options include Media Player settings, Services settings
(error reporting, time synch, remote registry etc.), as well as and option
to remove items from the Start menu, network security settings and more.
Safe XP improves your system performance and makes Windows to run faster,
more secure and reliable!
It is suitable for beginners and experts!

I went to the site http://www.nerdbrains.com/antispy-xp.html. The
site seems to be written in Martian: I can't quite make sense of
the writing (and punctuation). Can anyone describe this thing to
me? Is it safe?

also, s Safe XP true freeware, etc:? Any experience?

Thanks.

I went to the site http://www.nerdbrains.com/antispy-xp.html. The

That link forwarded me to a forum that requires login to access.

Try the forum link on <http://theorica.mirrorz.com/>
which is:
<http://pub37.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=3173578528>

quick first impression from glancing the message board there: doesn't
look like the software is entirely problem free..

All the best,

My eyes crossed. Not relevant to point you to the Save-XP site/forum.
You where asking about the antispy-xp site. As said
the URL <http://www.nerdbrains.com/antispy-xp.html> takes me to a
forum page that requires login. It seems this is caused by a
Javascript error at their site, because I can get to (stop at) the
above page if I turn Javascript off and retry the url. But AFAIK it
must be something else wrong with that site other than the Javascript
error, else it must be me or the site is just badly done - as I can
not seem to find any relevant info about antispy-xp there. (but I only
spent a minute or two - you/others might find what I didn't).

This is the correct address, no dialer nor any fakes:
www.xpantispy.org

I see. I used "antispy-xp" when googling, not "xpantispy". I notice
<www.xpantispy.org> warns against similar named site
in the *.de domain, <www.xpantispy.de>.

Btw, the ewido security suite(*) has a feature named "xp-antispy"
under the Tools menu. Looks rather similar to the one at
xpantispy.org, but the latter seems to have more options.
See

Any relation (question to group)? Or is it just that most "tweak
managers" look alike today (xp style)?

(*)the ewido suite, see messages:

So can SafeXP. SafeXP can detect changes already made and is safe for
both beginners and experts. not to mention the fact it doesn't
require an install and can run from a floppy (as well as GameXP which
is written by the same authors)

The ewido security suite and xp-AntiSpy both use the same libraries,
just different user interfaces.
