Safe to TRY Outlook

I've used Outlook Express, and now WinMail, for YEARS, but just for
experimental purposes, I'd like to do whatever is necessary to switch to
Outlook (I've got Office 2007). I'm concerned, first, as to whether I'll be
able to smoothly transition everything from WinMail to Outlook ... all my
contacts, folders, and stored e-mails. But I'm EQUALLY concerned about
whether or not I'll be able to go BACK to WinMail, if I choose not to stick
with Outlook.

Anybody been down this road, who might offer some advice?

Thanks...

Just go on to Outlook 2007 and don't look back. Serious as a heart attack.
Take tyhe time to learn it and you'll understand why it was worth the
learning curve.

I've had no problems setting up Outlook 2007 on computers and importing
Outlook Express and a couple of Windows Mail computers.

Import does show Windows Mail as a program to import from.

Export from Outlook 2007 would actually be Import into Windows Mail
program.

I agree. I use both Outlook 2007 and 2003,
and I like them both. I have just now started
to appreciate the changes to Office 2007.

I totally dumped Windows Mail about two weeks
ago. I was only using it for newsgroups but just
couldn't stand it anymore. I now use Thunderbird
for newsgroups.

Once you get used to Outlook 2007, there's absolutely
no way a user would ever want to use such an inferior
product as Windows mail.
