safe mode booting at startup

everytime i start the computer in the morning it comes up
in safe mode. have xp prof i then press enter to start
normally and will not have a problem the rest of the day.
no matter how many times i shut down. the next morning
its safe mode again.

any ideas thanks walter <>< :-)
 
I wish I knew the answer to your question. I have tried
to open in safe mode and the Help directions are wrong for
Windows XP. Appear to be the same for 98 which has
different menu system.
Does anyone know how to go to safe mode in XP???

i am not trying to get into safe mode it does this

automatically and it is very annoying
