I have an Asus G2S laptop and downloaded all my games from various sights..
All work fine but one and I have contacted the game maker who says it is a
problem on my laptop. They cannot duplicate the problem I'm having.
The game is Nertz Solitaire. Sometimes it works but quite often during
the
middle of a game it will bring up the following error message:
Nertz.RWG stopped working
Can anyone help with why this happens and how do I correct it. All my
games
run as administrators. I have Nvidia GeForce graphix card.
You should not run a game as an administrator unless the game does not run
to begin with. In your case, I would not run this game as an administrator.
When you run a game in this mode it opens the program to modify your system
settings. Not saying it WILL, but why risk it. You should only run a program
as admin if it fails to run normally.
I did a search for Nertz Solitare, this is a branded game, meaning you can
license the game, put your own logo on it and resell it for a profit. I
found a site that sells the game, pixelparadox.com. Their support consists
of an email address... (e-mail address removed) You might want to write
them, tell them your problem and see if they have a fix or suggestion.
If the game is stopping randomly in the middle of the game that could simply
be a bug. Probably not much you can do about that.
Here is a list of sites that carry Nertz Solitare (Google is your friend,
USE IT PEOPLE!):

http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/1703/nertz-solitaire/index.html
I see this many websites selling the first game and I think, "Scam...", but
I don't hear many bad things about them. Not really my cup of tea. Best bet
would be to try some of these links, or go back to the site where you
originally purchased the game and look for "Support" help.
bigfishgames.com lists this game as Vista supported, so don't run it as
admin, ok?
