I'am using windows xp home edition.Whenever I want to log onto the
internet,my home page comes up but then an error message pops up
saying:Runtime Error! This application has requested the runtime to terminate
in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more
information. Can anyone shed some light on whats happening. Before this
started I did remove some spyware with Adware, a free download. Could I have
removed something or done something I shouldn't have by doing this?

Look in Event Viewer Application log to verify that the "application" is the
browser. Are you talking about Internet Explorer ? And if so, which version,
six or seven? Do you have SP2 installed? I don't think Adaware could have
caused this but if you think so check the forum for that antispyware
program.

I do have SP2.I'm not sure about which version of Internet explorer, I think
it is seven. However I did discover that the error message only comes up when
I go to full screen. Also as so as you click ok or close the error message it
closes any web or internet page or site you were in. I haven't looked at my
event viewer but I will and get back to you. Thanks

Uninstall the Google toolbar. Then you can download and install the newest
version.
