Just installed Microsoft Office 2003 (Student and Teacher
Version) and now when I opened Internet Explorer, then
click on a link (for example, to go to eBay) a runtime
error, "Line: 1192, Error: 'null' is null or not an object"

What's going on here? Are these events related? Should I
restore my system to an earlier date and re-install MS
Office 2003? Any help is greatly appreciated!

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/scriptdb.htm

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.
