Hi. I frequently get the following error when loading
various web pages: "A Runtime Error Has Occurred. Do
you wish to Debug?"

I get this error on one of my PC's, but not on the
other. I have tried reinstalling IE 6.0, but during
installation it tells me I already have the latest
software and will not reinstall.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/scriptdb.htm

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

Hi,
I am getting the similar errors.
I go to the Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab and
the box for notification about every script error is
already unchecked.
The only way I can stop it is to check off the box above
it - Disable script debugging.
The problem is that it becomes unchecked,
It may be an hour, several hours, the next day.
I recheck the disable box, and close then re-open IE6, and
all is well until the next time.
Scripting engine has been updated as well.
Any thoughts?

Something you're running must be unchecking it.
