Recently I get a error message that says Microsoft Visual
C++ Runtime Library-what is this error message, why am I
getting it and how do I fix it. Thank you

I get the same error when trying to view www.hsn.com. I
have tried every download, patch and fix I can find and I
still get the error. If you find out an answer from
someone please share????
 
There are many reasons for Runtime errors. The exact error will give us some
clues. Please post the complete and exact message.
 
You seem to have a great deal of knowledge on Runtime errors...Maybe you can help me??? I have an imaging program that came with my printer and now when I open it, I get: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (ERROR).

Do they have updated drivers for your Printer?

Here is what I have on this type of error message.

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exe"
The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6.
