Just recently, I have been getting the "A runtime error
has occurred..." pop up message when using Explorer 6 with
Windows 2000 Professional. I have gone to the support
pages and looked at the "supposed" Microsoft solution and,
after about 10 times trying to click through all the
little steps they've set up to get "help," have given up.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks,

Tom

What is the complete error message?
What are you doing when you get it?

The entire message is: "A runtime error has occurred. Do
you wish to Debug? Line:7 Error:object expected" This
happens when I have been using Hotmail and everytime I
open or close a message or click on a link.

There are other messages on other pages also. They always
occur when I am going to a new page or accessing a link.
On weather.com I got the same beginning "a runtime
error...etc.", but another Error "obj. document is null or
not an object" and another line #.

This is very frustrating.
