I don't think you should necessarily be concerned, but without knowing
what websites give you the error message we can't give you specific
advice. Post back with one or two of the troublesome URLs and also let
us know:

1. What version of Vista
2. Did you upgrade or did it come preinstalled on a new computer
3. How you access the Internet - dialup, broadband?
4. Were you ever able to access those websites without getting the error
message? If yes, what changed?

Hi,

No, not really. Many sites have code errors. Instead, click tools/internet
options, and on the advanced tab uncheck the line to display a notification
about every script error.

However, if the error is coming from a plug-in, you may need to disable it
or reinstall it. This can be done from tools/manage add-ons.

answers to your questions
1 Vista Home Premium
2 preinstalled
3 broadband (virgin)
I could access Friends Reunited without error message until I entered
profiles and used previous and next buttons on webpage. By clicking on the
yes to debug it carried on running. The other website is
http://wwwtao-of-tattoos.comtribal-tattoos. html as with previous website if
I click on to yes to debug it runs normally. The error codes are as
follows:- Friendsreunited runtime error line 63 syntax error,
Tribal tattoos runtime error line 133 error expected ')'
Hope thats enough info

Next time please post your message *above* the signature delimiter. Real
newsreaders (which most of us use) strip out everything after a
signature delimiter.

I can't get to the Tao of Tattoos page you referenced - you must have
typed the URL wrong. However, I Googled "Tao of Tattoos" and see its
website.

You didn't give me an exact URL for the Friends Reunited site but I
Googled it to get its homepage.

Both sites use Javascript (not the same as Java). I suspect you are
using Internet Explorer 7 as your browser and that there is some issue
with the way the websites have coded their Javascripting and its
interaction with IE7. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Post your question in the IE7 newsgroup:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Make sure you include all pertinent details in your first post to them.

2. Try with an alternate browser. Firefox is very good. Get it at
www.mozilla.com.
