I have Frontpage 2003 running on Windows XP Home and at times when I save a
disk based webpage I am currently designing, I get the following error
message:

Runtime error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Method '~" of object '~' failed

The only addins I have are Jimco Open Web and case changer.

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

Ray

Make sure you have the latest version of the addins for your version of FP
If it persists, selectively disable each addin to find out the one causing it, them contact the addin provider

These were supposedly the latest versions that I just downloaded from
jimcoaddins.com

I will try to unload them one by one to se if this helps. I think another of
my major problems is my site host. They seem to have a lot of problems with
the front page extensions. Hostcentric just got bought out and the new and
improved "control panel" cannot handle Frontpage edits properly. It seems
that the extensions on their server are always getting corrupted.

Their message back to me was "Unfortunatly, our server configuration will
not allow you to edit your site using FrontPage --> Open Web option."
and also
"Please note that we do not support FrontPage Openweb option"
so I have to go to my site and use the "edit with frontpage" option which
works, but does not allow browsing pages on my site...

Time to change hosts....

You don't need to unload them, just disable them in Tools Addins
