I am unable to open IE if it is currently open in another users
account.

I have Windows XP Pro with IE 6.0.0029.xxxx. I have Google toolbar
installed. According to McAfee and Windows Defender I have no viruses,
worms, or spyware on the machine.

If one user (admin or not) has IE open and is surfing the web another
user can not open IE (switch users). I receive Runtime error!
pogram:c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe This
application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

Another option:
Another user receiving runtime errors fixed it by disabling McAfee's
Anti-Phishing filter.
