I am getting a run-time error on some websites. Website
appears to open up almost completely, then as it
completes the last image loads, a window appears with the
heading of

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

when it is executing iexplore.exe, and states that
the application is requesting Runtime to terminate it.

Any suggestions? I can see the website on my 2nd PC
running Windows ME, and can get into it no problem.

Hi,
Check for adware, spyware, parasites:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Or, from a previous post:
"Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exe"
The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6.

Hope this helps,
Don
