runtime error shutdown

My system has an intermittent fault with explorer,
showing error message 6025, and the text "runtime error,
pure virtual function call" and then the browser shuts
down. Anyone any ideas as to the cause and rectification
of the problem? Thanks for your help.

Today we had found a solution to the same problem on our machines
running IE6: within a intranet solution, clicking around very quickly on a page,
that reloads other framed page(s) we can always repro this bug R6025.

We used the
<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="blendTrans(Duration=0.3)" />
or also
<meta http-equiv="Page-Exit" content="blendTrans(Duration=0.3)" />
to produce nice page transition/loading effects.

Removing these statements from all our pages solve the IE crash problem.
