Looking at previous posts in this thread, I'm guessing "runtime error" could
have a variety of causes.
My problem is this:
When trying to save a particular movie back to DV camera and it gets to 33%,
14 min remaining and hangs, but doesn't crash. Windows task manager says
Movie Maker is still running. After cancelling I get this cryptic message:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error R6025
pure virtual funtion call"
I have been able to save this movie to CD, reimport it from CD into MM2,
then save it to my camera! I have also been able to save a small test 'movie'
straight from MM2 to camera; so I'm guessing the size/complexity of my
problem movie is part of the problem - it's only 10 min long but in AVI
format with lots of clips, transitions, & music added - so a biggish file.
I'm using WinXP prof, MM2, SP2; I think this is the first movie I've done
since replacing my CPU & motherboard, but the small test movie worked. I
still have lots of memory avail so I'm confused.
Someone please help us all!
