Hello
Snap! There appears to be a problem when you burn the ISO to disc and try to
install a fresh copy. There is also a multiboot problem with other versions
of XP.
I got around this problem by partitioning the hard drive in two... install
XP home OR XP pro to the partition that you want to install Vista...
If you don't have an ISO program, download UltraISO for 30 day trial...
Extract the fill contents of the vista ISO to the hard drive that you want
to install vista (IE C: or D: etc)
Once complete, double click the setup.exe...
When given the option, select UPGRADE and NOT clean install..
Vista should load on to XP... and you should have vista up and running
You will find that you get a crappy MS boot manager at the beginning that
will give you the option of booting from windows or earlier windows... if you
ever want to boot the other XP then be quick on the cursor keys as the option
is only available for 1 sec... (no joke...)
Also most USB ADSL modems don't work... use an ethernet
Hope this helps
