Thanks for the help. Change IE back to defaults which removed the tick for
script errors and now it closes fine

Unfortunately we sometimes come across badly written web pages that bring up
script errors.

I am currently having problems with outlook express.

When I try to open the program I get a runtime error message. "This
application has requested the runtime to terminateit in a unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

Can anybody help me to solve the problem please.

Hi William
It looks as if you have got onto the end of an old thread - somebody else's
thread. That is how it is showing to me.
Your post could be missed due to age of orig. post.
If this is an OE prob then post in the correct group, like
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general - however I see you are using the
clunky/old web base discussion group.
Try their outlook express group.
You do not indicate if you have done any homework either - Google the error
code you received - may get an answer that way
