runsrv32.exe, what is it?

I've got this dos window that pops up when I start my computer. In the
window header, it says the process name is runsrv32.exe. A brief web
search has revealed that this is some sort of virus or spyware.

What is runsrv32.exe?
What does it do to my computer?
How do I get rid of it?

It's suppose to look official like regsrv32.exe, so you may indeed have
a virus.

If you're using NTFS on the HDD, you could go to the exe
with Explorer and right-click and go to Security Tab set the permissions
to not Read/Execute so that the O/S won't lock the file and then delete
it. That's one way you could do it, if you're using NTFS.
