running windows xp on my old pc

I have a Dell Dimension 333c (from 1998) running windows 98. I have added
memory so I now have 224 MB. Maximum would be 394 MB. I wish to keep this
pc for the time being. If I add more ram to the max would I be able to run
Windows XP?

Minimum RAM requirement is 64MB. Recommended spec is 256. XP compatibility
with your other hardware will be a larger concern.

Also, Windows XP Upgrade Advisor can be downloaded (31.7MB download), then
run to check your system for compatibility. Not an all-inclusive check but
useful for getting a general idea about the feasibility of upgrading a
