Running Windows from CD

Hi,
I have a web server that I wish to rebuild, I would like to have Win2K or
Win2003 Server running from a CD rather than a hard drive as this system is
accessed by many unknown users. This way I could just reboot the system and
I would know that the system is back to the way I built it. Can windows be
setup to run from a CD. If so could I get a step buy step guide on how to
build the system from the ground up.

Thanks heaps.

I once saw a link explaining how win9x could be run from a cd ...the
procedure
was a bit complicated but it was apparantly possible...
IIRC it involved the use of *no* swap file and a ram drive set up so that
paths which would normally be writable would be directed there...

Win2k server is a whole other story as the OS is larger than what would fit
on a CD...

I'd suggest just doing a good backup or perhaps look at Knoppix Linux
which can run from a bootable cd
