Running total of photo size copying

Is there a way to keep a running total of the amount of disk space being used or will be used when pictures are being burned on a disk. How can I tell when I am getting close to a full disk so I dont try and add a folder and only able to add part of the folder?

Right-click the drive in My Computer, click properties, the dialogue will tell you
how much space there is on the CD, compare that to the folder you are transferring to
the CD.
