Running sum bug

I've discovered the following problem.
Given a master & detail couple in a report, I've placed some running sum
fields in the detail/footer group.
The calculations work correctly unless when the master/detail data is
splitted across page breaks. In this case, wrong values are calculated.

I thought it was a bug in the running sum built-in mechanism, ; but this
happens also if clacultaing sums manually.

Help!

I personally have had no such issues, I have had some
issues where lines of data disappeared on page break
seemingly giving eroneous data, I was able to resolve
these issues with format and allign to grid adjustments.
It may help if you indicate what version and which service
packs of Access you are using. Maybe others have had
similar issues.
