Goto Cnet or Download.com.com and look under the heading
Internet "Privacy" and you will find some free formatting
software which will wipe the slate clean. First unistall
all your programs except windows, everything you can,
except the essentials which dome with the OS like E and
Outlook etc. Then download Eraser 5.7, set it to Gutman
and let it do its things for about 8 hours. Then use the
format program that you have hopefully saved to your
desktop earlier. Good luck. You can always take your hard
drive out and run it via a wiper which most people don't
have, a little expensive. Anyway, ask someone how to do
a "p" format as well if your are really worried. Phone
the local fix-it-up store and ask them to email you the
procedure, I have done it twice already, and they will
usually help you unless they are large corporate twits//
